In other news, shenanigans are going down in Marina, and I'm apping for Roxas in Kakurenbo. *sob* I hate applications, my self-confidence nosedives everytime I do one. ;_;

Okay, first off is the good news. I've hunted down moar Days stuff. http://heartstation.org/?page_id=1328 Yaaay, Heartstation. Also, gold_panner is a sweetie. ♥ Also, I found another awesome kh2 novel translator-person: stray_mikeneko ♥

Bad news: I'M A FAILURE AT SPOILERS because I apped for Xion at Marinasylum....with a screwed-up timeline. *sob* I listed her as being from day 97, right after regaining her keyblade. But, I also said that she couldn't wield her keyblade because she'd had her first run-in with Riku. Now, in-game, she's mentioned that she knows Riku, has said she's about 97 days old, and that she's from Day 97. And she flipped out when Riku showed up.

HOWEVER! ...she didn't meet Riku until Day 149. It's hard to check things on the playthrough I've been using (and yeah, I rushed to get that app in cuz I was excited, totally my fault there). So I have thrown off the entire timeline and it's not even easily retconned. TT^TT

Damage control: repost on the taken page saying she's from Day 150. She doesn't remember her first month or so real well anyway, so she isn't the best source for how old she is (she's already said so, in fact). We'll just pretend the numbers are right in her conversation with Roxas. ;_; And I need to apologize to Haunt and tell her what Xion should have said.

Also, I will be more careful next time.

Okay, 358/2 Days is awesome. And it's really hard to roleplay Xion if no one else knows what you're talking about. And the game is adorable anyway. So.

I started playing as Xion yesterday.I think her most memorable conversation so far is the one she had with Matoi, from...I forgot what anime. Matoi is a creepy stalker girl. She is so creepy that she is totally freaking hilarious. &hearts Xion made the mistake of asking her what love was. XD


And if anyone is worried about Days being a retcon mess, the only thing it really would retcon is the scene from "Another Report," but that's it. And there is a perfectly good reason why nobody (lol, Nobody) mentions Xion in KH2. Trust me. :)

"shin'yuu" from the Japanese language. As stated by one of my friends who can read Japanese: " Shin'yuu is comprised of two separate kanji, the second one being a stock radical for friend or companion, but the first actually implying a level of closeness that is usually limited to immediate family. By itself, that first kanji actually implies the closeness one feels to their own parents--other words that include this radical are shin'ai (a term of endearment, similar to Dear "Name", at the beginning of a letter to a loved one) and shin'setsu (favor, kindness, or mercy). Point being? That's a hardcore best friend; you don't call just anybody your shin'yuu."

I reaaally want to do it, but  I need the data first! *flails* I put in a reservation, so that should give me time to put together a decent app, and make sure I don't have any gross misconceptions about her character. *freaking out*

Also, I'm gonna be in FLT once it reboots (which will be soon omg). Continuing with Sora, putting Belle on Utility, and Namine is skittering off with the other people we lost. Also, apping Xion to join Team Death Note. And once Kakurenbo starts up, I'm gonna app Roxas. \o/ Gotta work on my writing till then! I've gotta do better than last time.

Reasons why: I'll finally know what Xion's deal is, I'll have moar interaction with the organization, MOAR ROXAS, MOAR AXEL, it looks like tons of fun, I'm buying my sister a DS for her birthday so we can do multiplay together, MOAR ROXAS, and most importantly:

MY FANFIC WILL FINALLY BE WRITEABLE.

Because it's hard to write a story when you don't know what happened to some of your main characters. Or how your characters get along. Sure I could make things up, but I'm not good at that. And I want to make my thing kind of like a sequel that could totally happen (or that I could fool myself into thinking that). So...yeah. Excited. If Youtube lets me down I will be dissapointed.

Now if only the North American release wasn't right after school starts up again. T^T

In other news, I saw the new Star Trek movie a week ago and cried buckets of tears. It was a pretty cool movie. And I went in knowing almost nothing about Star Trek, so that's saying something.

I keep hearing about how buggy and annoying Windows Vista is, and kay_willow's seems to be dead-set on self-destructing, but I've never had a problem with it. I'm rather fond of Vista, actually.

Any ideas on why this is? tcharin's had no problems either, so I've got nothin'.
